Aid by Trade Foundation

Its mission is to promote environmental protection and to improve living conditions in developing countries.

The Aid by Trade Foundation was established in 2005 based on the conviction that the livelihoods of future generations, and vital resources, can be protected only by sustainable development. Its mission is to promote environmental protection and to improve living conditions in developing countries.

As well as supporting the sustainable cultivation of agricultural and forestry products, the long-term aim is to develop the value chains in countries where these raw materials are produced. Africa is the foundation's first regional focus, through its Cotton made in Africa initiative.
