Tell us a little bit about yourself

At the moment I present a monthly video for YouTube channel called Pump, where I talk about what's caught my eye in the fashion world! In my spare time I love researching fashion and the arts, browsing creative magazines and also hand-sewing designs on jumpers and shirts to sell.

What do you love the most about fashion?

The thing I love the most about fashion is the freedom everyone has to express their personality through their clothes! For me, fashion is art; I consider it to be one of the most creative fields that can also be integrated into everyday life.

Where do you find inspiration for your designs?

I am mainly inpsired by artists like Henri Matisse and Cy Twombly,  and their ways of analysing colours and different forms. The brand Celiné is a big influence on my design work too because of the contemporary simplicity that can be seen in their collections season after season.

What is the favourite item of clothing in your wardrobe and why?

The favourite item in my wardrobe at the moment is a pair of green velvet trousers from Zara. In addition to being very fashionable in terms of their colour and fabric they're really comfortable too! They're great for special occasions or for day-to-day wear, and a lot more fun than wearing jeans all the time!

What advice would you give to help people show their clothes a bit more love?

The advice I would give to anyone who wants to show their clothes a bit more love is to rediscover ways of wearing your old favourites by adding something new to them or even to cut them!

Buy carefully, think before you put it in your basket if you really need it or if it suits your style or body shape. Don't over-buy, it's better to have fewer items that really suit you rather than a wardobe full of clothes you'll never wear!
