Tonne of Clothes at Brighton Fashion Week

Love Your Clothes and Cancer Research UK hosted a Fashion Salvage challenge at Brighton Fashion Week 2015.

Love Your Clothes and Cancer Research UK deposited a tonne of clothing at the Open Market, Brighton, for a 3-day event from Thursday 15 to Saturday 17 October 2015 - all part of Brighton Fashion Week. We also hosted a Fashion Salvage challenge, which showcased the benefits of second hand and upcycled clothing while highlighting the environmental issues of clothing waste. Saturday 17 October saw various repair and alteration demonstrations from Sew Fabulous, Eco Makers Emporium and David A Mumford, and a second-hand clothes swish with Rags Revival.
